East London shipyard

East London Shipyard is a joint venture between DCD and Elgin, Brown & Hamer. Located in South Africa’s only river port it provides a full range of services and is equipped to cater for a wide range of vessel types.

Drydock repairs can be carried out in Princess Elizabeth Graving Dock, which is owned and operated by Transnet National Ports Authority. This dock can accommodate vessels up to a length of 200 meters and a beam of 24.5 meters.

Conveniently located in East London the company further provides voyage repairs in Port Elizabeth and the new Port of Ngqura.
